Itinerary
Depart after breakfast north through Kikuyu farmlands to the slopes of Mount Kenya for lunch. After a leisurely buffet lunch descend from the verdant highlands to the arid plains crossing the equator with stunning views all the way through. Game drive in the Samburu Game Reserve. Dinner and overnight at a Samburu lodge.
A full day game viewing in the reserve renowned for its unique game typical of the drier northern regions such as the fine striped Grevy’s zebra, the graceful long necked Gerenuk, Reticulated giraffe, the handsome oryx and the Somali ostrich. Lunch at a Samburu lodge. Later in the afternoon set out for another game drive until dusk. Dinner and overnight at a Samburu lodge.
Return to the highlands crossing the equator and back to Nairobi. Lunch at a lodge en route. Arriving in Nairobi is after lunch.
