Itinerary

Day 1 :

0800 hrs pick up from your hotel. Travel over spectacular Sir Lowry’s Pass from where a wonderful view of the entire Cape Peninsula can be seen. Enter the beautiful wilderness area. Overnight at Karps Wilderness Hotel (bed only).

Day 2 :

Outdshoon – Kango Caves

Drive across the mighty Outeniqua Mountatins and on Outdshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world. Visit the Highgate Ostrich Show Farm, enjoy a delicious lunch at the farm restaurant. Visit the Kango Caves at the foot of the Swatberg Mountains and the crocodile and cheetah ranch. Overnight at Karos Wilderness Hotel (FB).

Day 3 :

Knysna and the lake districts

After an early breakfast; transfer to George Railway Station aboard the Outeniqua Chootjoe – a historical steam train for a spectacular trip trhough the vistas of sea, forests, mountains and lagoons to Knysna famous for its forests and furniture industry. An optional lunch berak. Afternoon return to the wilderness area. Dinner and overnight at Karos Wilderness Hotel (BB).

Day 4 :

Port Elizabeth

After breakfast drive to the popular holiday resort of Plettenberg Bay. Continue to the mighty Tzizikamma Forest and arrive in Port Elizabeth Overnight Holiday Inn Garden Court (BB).

Day 5 :

Mpekweni Sun – Port Elizabeth or East London

Transfer to airport at either of these coastal cities.
