Itinerary
Depart southwards through Maasai country to the fascinating Amboseli National Park arriving there in time for lunch. After a short afternoon siesta set out for a game drive in the park situated at the foot of the towering Mount Kilimanjaro which is the world’s highest free-standing mountain. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Morning drive along the floor of the rift, passing via the extinct volcano of Longonot. Descend the escarpment to the rolling grasslands of Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive in the reserve until sunset. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp.
A full day spent amongst the animals. The Mara is Kenya’s premier game reserve and is in fact the northern extension of the Tanzania Serengeti and is home to a vast herd of plains game. Lunch, dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp.
After breakfast return to Nairobi arriving before lunch.
