Four hours drive from Nairobi at the base of the highest mountain in Africa lies the Amboseli National Park, one of the most popular parks in Kenya. The landscape, with its perched alkaline pan and strange mirage is dominated by glistening majestic snow capped Mt Kilimanjaro. This is the Maasai country, a proud nomadic people who have lived for centuries in harmony with nature. Game is plenty with lions, elephants and buffaloes an almost assured sight.
