Itinerary
Start early morning heading for Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma Gate. Game Viewing in this park renowned for its “Red Elephants” so called because of the red earth that colours their hides. Visit the Aruba Dam where plenty of animals and aquatic birds can be observed. Lunch at the Voi Safari Lodge. Afterwards proceed on to Tsavo West National Park with game drive en route. Full board at a lodge.
After an early breakfast, drive to Mzima Springs to see hippo and oher aquatic life in the crystal clear waters of the springs which originate from the Chyulu Hills nearby. There is a submerged glass enclosure from which you can observe the antics of the hippos in the water. Return to the lodge for lunch and thereafter return to the Indian Ocean town of Mombasa.
